Default No newbies Town

i have nothing against newbies , or less skilled people

Imagine a town only for people who have done all the 20 k and 50 k droks quests for exemple. or at least for after hells percipice.

we need a town for end game people only IMO.

this new tombs rocks everyday , but still lots of ascended yesterday people.
witch i have nothing against , im not asking to change that , just a new place for people that are playing for 8 months like me

See, like here. You fail to say why we need this. Kind of confusing ^^

And while we're at it we can introduce PvE fame, just like in Tombs. Then we can all sit around in war camp shouting 'SF group forming, r6+ only, noobs go back to ascalon!'.

I actually saw someone in tombs yesterday, shouting to form a r6+ group. I PMed him and informed him that it was a PvE area now, and he replied 'yes, I know, but I don't want noobs'...... forum rules prohibit me from posting what I said back to him.

as i said i dont mean to send noobs to ascalon
or fame for pvers so they can send noobs to ascalon
i want a town after hells percipice with zones even harder then the new tombs , im not even asking for new greens for that zone , more experience , or better farming place or better conversation with people there

just as simple as , only people who can play as a team can reach.

like impossible to run there , all 8 players are needed as fighters with all atributes sup runes and best skill combinations.

im saying this becose the new tombs is out and i have already beat it 4 times .. also i have failed about 10 times becose people leave out of faith. just today we were doing so good , killing fast as i have never seen , i was amazed and happy , at that speed no one was dieing. we would beat it in less then 3 hours maybe less then 2. and then we reach the second wurm , we rush on them , i think wow , these people are crazy , we sould lure pop ups , about 3 pop up groups there , but no , we are fighting them all , plus the wurm , of corse all people die , only me a a monk survive , the monk tryes to rez someone and dies , so its me letf over with one rez sig . one of the monks imideatly leaves , and after 10 second the other 2 monks leaves ...

i mean , we had 3 monks , doing too good to be true . first time we die , and people leave ???

what do you call these people in gw ??? noobs

i didnt call them that , but i felt it was the biggest waste of all ... and the only conclusion i can make is that they are not experienced , i am sure we could have regrouped and beat it with that team , they lose faith out of experience.

so with this town for experienced people i dont mean to send noobs to ascalon , i mean to send experienced people to another place.

im also sure anet have think of this before , but they need experienced people mixed with non experienced , so they can teach each other experiences ...

anyway , this can be a sugestion for factions. since we had so many gifts.

i cant be more greatfull with this new tombs.

I can see your reasoning behind wanting more exp players. I do think it odd that people leave after a death though. I for one, am rather new to the game, it was a Christmas present, and I have found myself in a similar situation. People just up and leave after a death. Most often it was due to some carelessness on our part. Such as charging in. I find it odd that death even irks people in this game. Maybe it's the years in EQ where a death meant the next two weeks were spent regaining your exp (unless you knew a nice high level cleric).
Yea, so anyway, really can't say it has all to do with newer people that leave. I for one, would have probably laughed it off with an "Ooops" (which I've been screamed at for - even if it was no fault of mine... standing out of aggro range shooting) and stuck around to see how we get ourselves back into the action.

There is no way you could regulate that, doing quests missions etc doesn't equal matureness, the same way armour or whatever doesn't

when it is boiled down you want the equivalent of an exclusive social club to exclude anybody except your own lofty equals

you may be a polite wonderful helpful person but this exclusive keep out the new inexperienced people would gag a goat

/still in favor of concentrating them to clear the air elsewhere

i believe it does , one of my favorite mission is hells percipice becose people are afraid the first minute they go in , expecialy people that havent beat it yet .. its very easy to feel the diferent behaviurs from mission to mission. there is a learning curve. its very obvius.

the way tombs is located now , you can team up with someone that have not done any of the snow missions or any of the fire island missions.

thats why i think anet did on purpuse , to add the cumunity factor as a dificulty factor , once again , genius.

Even if they did add an area like this you would still have the same problem as you do now.

No I would call them bad players, but some time’s people leave for other reasons too, like lagged out, error 7, line drops, power outage, any number or reason.

Secondly how are people going to get experienced if no one likes playing with them, everyone has a different player style. It’s just an endless cycle.

no

you have confirmed it.

you want to wander where ever you want to and then go to a place that would exclude a majority of the game population.

sorry but no newbies allowed

only the best players are allowed.

its ours ,you are not good enough, keep out

thats why you have guilds

If they did what you're suggesting, that would be discriminating against new players, or players with lesser skill which I believe would go agains EULA.
Also if all the good players gathered at one place who would teach the new players how to play? Suddenly every mission would be impossible to beat and eventuallly everyone would give up on the game and go play something else.

Horray for sarcasm.

I don't think OP is correct in saying there should be a separate place for 8 months people (I am one, but who cares). How about you just play with people and then decide if they are good or not, then add them to your friendlist.

We all had a start at SOME point. Some started later, it doesn't mean they are any less mature/experienced.

Just because you finished the game and have 150k armor, doesn't mean you're not a noob -.-;
We don't need a place for "elites" just live with it -.-;
